Villa Barbecue at Altamer Villas, Anguilla

🔊🎶🗣️ For our first dinner in #Anguilla, we had no problems staying in at our @AltamerVillas, where the folks of the @AnguillaCulinaryExperience prepared a #Caribbean #BBQ dinner, with samplings of traditional dishes: Johnnycakes for the pumpkin soup with ginger and coconut milk🥣🥥; corn 🌽, various salads 🥗, and mashed yams with garlic🍠🧄; honey glazed chicken 🍗; grilled snapper 🐟; jerk ribs 🍖; and above all, the specialty of the island, Caribbean #crayfish—not to be confused with Caribbean lobster—which is a tad sweeter and a lot more tender. 🦐 — Dining to the musical stylings of @12thAvenueEnt 🎶👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 but leaving room for banana flambé 🍌🔥 and cake à la mode, in Anguilla, #BWI. 🇦🇮
